While the results can be really good, there are limits in terms of reproducing the design in some real-world situations such as screen printing (where limited spot colors are preferred) or where the image needs to be printed at large sizes (causing pixelation).

At Graphic Explosions we make every effort to create all of our logo designs in a vector based application that allows for enlarging and reducing the design without the loss of clarity and sharpness that can happen with raster images. It also makes changing colors easier and prepping artwork for spot color separations possible (think t-shirts / screen printing).
