This beer label design was a fun project that we did for Six Feet Deep Brewing Co. aka Doug Mixon, Derek Mixon and Brian Keenan. In deference to its style, name and tone, we used a grim reaper wreathed in wheat with a flame background. Helles Hefeweizen is a wheat beer that is both unfiltered and unholy. Next time you see them be sure to hit them up for a ‘taste of hefen & hell.’ Get it? Get it? Hefe is the German word for yeast.
